Currently pursuing a master's in Design Engineering at Northwestern University

My portfolio takes visual inspiration from the ocean.

In China, time is often compared to crashing waves, endless and unstoppable, while individuals are seen as grains of sand, small and powerless against the tides of their era. I don't fully agree. The ocean may never stop moving, but it’s the sand that holds its memory: the lines, the imprints, the fleeting traces of what once was.

I see product design living in that same tension, capturing moments and creating new experiences in this rapidly evolving world. Carrying this view forward, I design with intention, shape solutions that adapt and resonate.

With a background in Digital Media Art from UC San Diego, I first approached design as a way to shape immersive experiences. Transitioning into UX challenged me to balance emotional storytelling with structure and clarity.

Now at Northwestern, I’m expanding that perspective, learning to design not just for individuals, but for the systems, strategies, and contexts that shape lasting impact.
