During my internship at PHOENIX, I contributed to the research and design of a flagship refrigerator and washer dryer combo for Haier, integrating strategic insights into the UX and UI to deliver client-approved solutions. I also supported other projects, including Hansgrohe toilet controls and Xiaomi speakers, where I provided research and prototyping expertise.

Enhancing Research Skills and Rapid Design Proficiency

I honed my design research skills through extensive in-home visits and expert interviews, each lasting 2-3 hours, developing the ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable design strategies. Leading tasks like designing the fridge’s digital interface under tight timelines sharpened my ability to balance big-picture thinking with detailed execution, while deepening my expertise in rapid prototyping for efficient concept testing.

Expanding UX in Smart Home Electronics

As someone new to industrial design and physical products, each project has broadened my perspective on multidisciplinary user experience. Focusing on smart home electronics, I’ve gained insights into how elements like lighting effects, integrated CMF screens, and digital displays can enhance product intelligence and elevate user experiences.

Embracing AIGC for Agile and Precise Design

My agency’s forward-thinking approach to integrating AIGC tools has streamlined our design workflow, enabling faster adaptation and clearer communication of ideas. By embracing these tools, I learned how to bring project visions to life with greater speed and precision.
